have you had any...chelsea...lately??!

ok..ok..not a good job at the play on words there, but you get the point!...we went to see CHELSEA HANDLER!! She and her crew were so funny, much more funny then I had thought they would be! We really enjoyed seeing her show! And, then we had a great date after..so of course I had to snap just a few shots! Buuuut no shots with the star, the line to see her was e-normous, so we passed her up!...a fun time!

If you know me-you know..around here we celebrate as much as we can for the whole month, or at least a whole week...not just a day..who does that!
So, the weekend after the Deadliest Catch, I took DJ out to dinner where we made new friends and ate "teppin" or is it "tappin"..you know-the Japenese food that is made right in front of you, but usually served by a guy named Jose! It was de-lic-i-ous!!

The cake cake I made him-yes me, not a 3 year old! Give me time, I'm workin' on my skillz! Thank goodness I don't have kids yet-this would be super embarassing for the lil one! Oh, well, it's the thought that counts right!

The boat ride to the restaurant!!! eeek! So much fun! Couldn't pass up the photo opp!!
Remember-the Saved By The Bell episode, in Palm Springs, on the huge golf course, and the rode the lil boat out of the hotel and around to the wedding...that's where we were!! On that boat!! The only thing better than that would be eating at the Peach Pit!!

Our new friends! This world really has neat, great, interesting people in it! Living in a small town, you don't always get the opportunity to meet people...man o man it's fun to make new friends! Some of you must think, I'm a little weird-"she doesn't know this by now?!" This was the best experience! It changed by whole outlook on life!!

This here is Ravi and his girlfriend! They're from Canada! They were actually coming out here for vacation!

We had a great time! Can ya tell by those big smiles! We met the greatest people! And he had a great Birthday! Mission accompolished!!

The DEADLIEST CATCH!!! Say whaaaat!

DJ's favorite show is the Deadliest Catch, so...when they came to town-I had to get us tickets and it just happened to be his birthday-perfect timing right?!! So I tried to surprise him, but he guessed before we got there! But, he took a "surprised" picture for me!! Then we got to meet two of the Captains...he got new Ray Bans! (I told him to pose and he became an instant model!)..and a free mug to-boot! He said it was a "perfect birthday!"

molly turned 30 this year!! (in june! i'm a lil late!) so karis and i swept her away (ok-not that far!) to palm desert (wellll it was close to there!) to casino morongo for some maxin and relaxin'! somehow i didn't get that many pictures-i'm always takin alot??! we got to rest by the pool, and eat ALOT!! a lil shoppin, and the best part- A SPA DATE!! wahooey! that was molly's idea, and a GREAT one!!! well, i hope her 30th was everything she hoped it to be!! love you-my person!

Tim graduates and joins the Santa Monica Fire Department!

In June Tim graduated the Santa Monica Fire Department Academy and became a full fledged Santa Monica Fire Fighter! Man o man I know it's been a looong road for him and Molly and when I heard he was graduatin' and we were invited...well, I wouldn't miss for the WORLD!! I'm pretty sure I had a few tears during the ceremony-but I had sunglasses on..couldn't let anyone see me gettin all emotional!! I'm just so happy for him and Molly and so darn proud! (Tim-I told everyone at work you were graduating!) To see the joy on his face..and molly's face..audrey's face...ellie's face...it made my heart smile so big!
Then we got to hangout with the whole family all day on the PIER!! Sooo much fun! DJ's never been there! Then we had dinner together and before that a huge slice of pizza for a snack-couldn't pass that up!! Then swimming and I got to watch the girls swim on their own for the first time!! OH MY it was the BEST weekend! We were so THRILLED we got to share it with them! WENGERS-WE LOVE YOU!!

a lil visit to knotts berry farm

we got spontaneous and made a little trip to knotts berry farm...it was sooo much fun! buuut i do not enjoy those rides the way i did 15 years ago..they are tooo fast...i've got old! after our long day we the best lobster dinner at claim jumper...it was a perfect date!

been watching dad play softball...he's really good!

mom went shopping with me to get some essentials!

i've been wanting to go with her for a while...so it was a real treat for me!
